Thank you for having me here today.
It’s a pleasure to be with you in Las Vegas, spending time with the leadership of this great union, connecting with old friends and meeting new ones.
Thanks to brothers and sisters from the Steelworkers local in The Pas, who made me an honorary member a couple of years ago.
And I came here on a mission, because I want my dear friend Leo Gerard to sign my Steelworkers card while I’m here at this great convention. It’s Leo back in fighting form – stronger than ever. And I want you to know that last month, I signed Leo’s Life Membership Card for the NDP.
