Liberal or Conservative?

I have tried to understand the carbon tax proposal and I am sorry, it does not make sense! I have listened to Dion try to explain it, I have gone on the Liberal website to read up on it, and I am still unsure what it is he is proposing.
First of all, why should we as tax payers expect to get back the tax savings, this has never happened in the past. Secondly, who in their right mind wants to pay more at the pump for gas or pay more for heating oil. And thirdly, we will have to pay HST on the increase as well.
Personally I am afraid of a Conservative majority, we did not hear anything from Harper all the time he was in office, he shunned the media, did not have press conferences, and only now is he in our face making new promises every day. Promises that he can not possibly keep.
Why does he want self employed people to have parental leave? A much more immediate problem for all parents is affordable day care. This little gem comes up every election, everybody promises it, and nobody delivers.
A good example of conservative secrecy is the silence in the media around the North American Free Trade Agreement. Why is it not in the news if Canada is attending meetings on the subject and the US is moving forward with their agenda? It can’t be good for us if it is a secret.
At this point the NDP and The Green party are looking good!

Gasoline Prices

I would like to know why the prices go up in anticipation of a tragedy, and then the tragedy doesn’t happen, AND then the prices don’t go down.

Why do prices go down in Ontario, and not in New Brunswick?

Gouged?  I think so!

Question for the Candidates Debate

I would like to know where each of the candidates stand on NFTA.  And more specifically the “AMERO”.
Why is it a secret in Canada? Why is there nothing in the press? For anyone who is interested, go to Google and type in AMERO.
